Pantheon Resources PLC - London-based oil and gas company with a portfolio focused in Alaska - Spuds its Theta West 1 well in Alaska. Pantheon holds a 100% interest in the well. The Theta West 1 well is targeting two primary targets: the upper basin floor fan, and the lower basin floor fan. Combined, these horizons are estimated by Pantheon to contain 12.1 billion barrels of oil in place with an estimated 1.4 billion barrels of recoverable resource.
