(Sharecast News) - Pan African Resources revealed on Thursday that finance director Deon Louw had acquired 220,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed gold producer.
Louw, who was appointed to the board of Pan African in 2015, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 341.54p each, for a total value of £751,388.01.
Following the transaction, Louw holds 3.12m ordinary Pan African shares, representing 0.1397% of the company's issued share capital.
As of 1655 BST, Pan African shares were down 3.32% at 16.32p.

IN BRIEF: Pan African Resources inks five-year wage deal at Barberton
Pan African Resources PLC - Rosebank-headquartered gold producer - Signs a "milestone" five-year wage agreement with the National Union of Mineworkers at its Barberton Mines operations in Mpumalanga. The wage settlement amounts to an average yearly hike of about 5.3% per annum over five years. Increases take effect from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2029. Says the current five-year wage agreement with UASA, entered into in 2021, is valid until June 30, 2026.
