Norcros PLC - Wilmslow, England-based bathroom and kitchen product supplier - On Tuesday appoints Steve Good as a non-executive director and chair designate, both with effect from July 1. He will assume the role of chair upon the retirement of David McKeith. Good is currently a non-executive director of London-based speciality chemicals company Elementis PLC. Prior to that, he was recently the non-executive chair of cellular material technology producer Zotefoams PLC and sausage casing manufacturer Devro PLC.

IN BRIEF: Norcros expects record annual underlying operating profit

Norcros PLC - Wilmslow, England-based bathroom and kitchen product supplier - Says it has been trading well against a challenging macroeconomic backdrop and now expects underlying operating profit for the year ended March 31 to hit a record level and be in-line with current market expectations of GBP45.9 million, according to company-complied consensus. Revenue for the year is expected at GBP440 million, up 11% from GBP396.3 million the year prior.

Driver Group PLC - Lancashire, England-based professional services consultancy to construction and engineering industries - Declares final dividend of 0.75 pence per share for the financial year that ended September 30 last year, the same as its interim dividend and unchanged from a year before. Says the two payouts show its confidence in the business, including a return to profitability in financial 2023. Pretax loss in financial 2022 is GBP2.4 million swung from profit of GBP1.9 million the year before, as revenue slips to GBP46.9 million from GBP48.8 million while cost of sales rises to GBP37.1 million from GBP36.4 million.

Norcros PLC - Cheshire-based kitchen & bathroom products supplier - Says Chief Executive Officer Nick Kelsall intends to retire after 30 years. He will step down as CEO and from the board with effect from March 31. Promotes UK Business Director Thomas Willcocks as the new CEO, starting from April 1. He will be CEO designate until then. Willcocks has been member of the executive team at Norcros as business director UK with operational responsibility for the group's UK business segment since August 2021. Prior to this, he was the managing director of Norcros South Africa where he "led the transformation and profitable growth of the South African business," Norcros says.
