LONDON (Alliance News) - MTI Wireless Edge Ltd said Tuesday that it has appointed Amnon Sofrin as non-executive director of the company.
Sofrin served in the Israel Defense Forces from 1973 to 2003. His last assignment with the IDF was as chief of the Combat Intelligence Corps, which he established in 2000 and commanded for over three years.
"We are very happy to have Amnon on our board - we believe that his vast knowledge and contacts in the defence industry together with his strategic analysis and view of the markets will be beneficial for the company," said Chairman Zvi Borovitz.
Shares in the antennas developer were trading 5.3% lower at 18.00 pence each.
