(ShareCast News) - Milestone, a provider of digital media and technology solutions announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) on Tuesday.The agreement is aimed at generating revenues, building membership and raising the profile of both organisations. It will involve introducing new members to each organisation, joint promotion, developing strategic partnerships and establishing and investment fund.The SSE provides access to the world's first regulated market dedicated to businesses and investors seeking to achieve a positive social and environmental impact through their activities. The number of members stands at 44 companies with a combined value of over £2.3bn.Chief executive of Milestone Deborah White said: "The Social Stock Exchange is the perfect partner to pull together all Milestone Group's efforts and partnerships to take its Passion Project national."The project aims to combat rising levels of youth unemployment and disaffection by helping them identify a career that matches their interests."Our products and services are a natural fit for those businesses which have passed the strict criteria for a listing on the Social Stock Exchange and the Exchange itself offers a compelling service which we will promote to our partners," she added.Chief executive of the Social Stock Exchange Tomás Carruthers said: "The primary role of the Social Stock Exchange is to help those businesses making a positive impact as well as a financial return find aligned investors. We are delighted to have this opportunity to help Milestone tap into the potential that's on offer."Milestone's share price was stable at 1p at 1315 on Tuesday.
