Milestone's Nexstar Venture Signs Up Rock Solid For Backstage Platform

LONDON (Alliance News) - Digital media and technology company Milestone Group PLC on Thursday said joint venture partner Black Cactus Holdings Ltd has signed a deal with music and media firm Rock Solid Development Ltd.

Milestone and Black Cactus are joint venture partners on the Nexstar business.

Under the deal, Rock Solid will use Nexstar's Backstage HD music publishing platform to help manage its stable of artists.

Nexstar will receive a revenue share per transaction conducted through the platform, including sales of music, ticket sales and advertising revenue.

Milestone shares were up 8.9% to 0.844 pence early Thursday.
