(Alliance News) - Palm oil producer MP Evans Group PLC on Tuesday announced the retirement of Non-Executive Director Richard Robinow, effective from the end of the year.
Darian McBain, global director of corporate affairs and sustainability at Thai Union Group, has been hired to replace Robinow. Thai Union Group is a producer of seafood-based food products.
Peter Hadsley-Chaplin, executive chair, said: "We are sad to bid farewell to Richard whose board contribution has been second to none. At the same time, we are delighted that Darian has agreed to join the group. Darian's significant experience and recognition as a leader in the field of sustainability will be invaluable to MPE. We are excited about her appointment and look forward to working with her."
Shares in Kent-based MP Evans closed 1.7% higher at 675.58 pence each on Tuesday in London.
