(Alliance News) - Moss Bros Group PLC on Tuesday said Bill Adams will take over from Chief Financial Officer Tony Bennett, who has decided to step down for personal reasons and will leave in February 2020.
The London-headquartered menswear retailer said Adams is currently the interim finance head at luxury clothing chain Ted Baker PLC. Prior to that he was CEO at home shopping company Ideal Shopping Direct Ltd.
"Bill has considerable experience across a variety of different retail businesses, and will no doubt bring valuable additional insight to the business," said Moss Bros Chief Executive Brian Brick.
"Bill will join us at a time where we can leverage the Moss Bros brand further into new channels. I believe Bill's experience will enable him to make an immediate contribution to our future," Brick added.
Moss Bros shares were untraded in London on Tuesday morning, last closing at 21.19 pence each, while Ted Baker shares were up 3.0% at 389.00p each.
