Marks & Spencer topped the FTSE as the retailer launched its Britain's Leading Ladies campaign to promote its new autumn/winter fashion collection. The advertisement features stars including Helen Mirren, Tracey Emin and Ellie Goulding. Petrofac, which provides facilities services to the oil, gas and energy sectors, surged after the price of Brent crude oil strengthened as turmoil in Egypt stocked fears for exports from other oil producers in the Middle East and North Africa.easyJet rallied as investors saw value in the airline after the shares took a battering last week.Mining stocks were the biggest fallers, including Anglo American and Vedanta Resources, as the price of copper and silver declined.Glencore Xstrata retreated after Reuters reported the mining company may write down as much as $7.0bn of inherited Xstrata assets when it reports half-way results this week.Tullow Oil plunged as traders speculated the effects of the Egyptian crisis on oil companies.FTSE 100 - RisersMarks & Spencer Group (MKS) 462.00p +1.92%Petrofac Ltd.
