(Alliance News) - Mercia Asset Management PLC on Tuesday said that one of its direct investments Nova Pangaea Holdings Ltd has received an investment from International Consolidated Airlines Group SA.

Mercia Asset Management PLC - Regionally focussed specialist asset manager - Net assets rise by 1.1% to GBP202.9 million at March 31 financial year-end, from GBP200.6 million 12 months earlier. Net assets per share drop by 0.4% to 45.4 pence from 45.6p the prior year. Mercia had around 6.5 million more shares in issue at the end of March than a year prior. The company's assets under management increase by 46% to GBP1.4 billion from GBP959.2 million in the same period the year before. Says its pretax profit for its year ended March 31 falls to GBP2.4 million from GBP27.4 million. Revenue up 12% to GBP25.9 million from GBP23.2 million. However, the fair value movements in direct investments fell to GBP1.2 million from GBP11.4 million.

Mercia Asset Management PLC - Warwickshire, England-based specialist asset manager - Says Warwick Acoustics Ltd has secured its first production contract with "a global top ten luxury [vehicle] manufacturer". Warwick is a Nuneaton, England-based audio systems manufacturer in which Mercia owns a 40.3% stake. The multi-year contract currently includes two vehicle programmes and will be delivered through a "significant expansion" of Warwick's design, development and manufacturing capacity. Warwick's products are based on its patented ElectroAcoustic panels. Mercia says the contract "is a major milestone for Warwick Acoustics, validating the performance and scalability for its proprietary automotive audio system".

(Alliance News) - Mercia Asset Management PLC - Warwickshire, England-based, regionally-focused asset manager - Sells IT and technology consulting services company for private equity firms Intechnica Holdings Ltd to Crosslake Technologies LLC for GBP14.5 million. Says it held a 26% direct holding in Intechnica at the point of sale and will receive cash proceeds of GBP3.7 million. This will generate an internal rate of return of 27% and 1.7 times on its current holding value.
