(Alliance News) - McColl's Retail Group PLC said Friday that Non-Executive Director Sharon Brown will step down from the role with effect in the summer of 2020.
Brown has been non-executive director at the newsagent operator for five years since 2014, during which she was interim chair of the group from 2015 to 2016.
Brown is also non-executive director at Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC, and her most recent executive role was finance director at gardening firm Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd for 14 years from 1998 to 2013.
"Sharon joined McColls at the time of our IPO and, on behalf of the board and the company, I would like to thank her for her valuable contribution throughout this time. I wish her continued success for the future," said Non-Executive Chair Angus Porter.
Shares in McColl's Retail - which is based in Essex, UK - were down 1.6% at 46.00p on Friday in London.
