LLOYDS BANKING GROUP

Lloyds appointed Nick Prettejohn as chairman of its pensionscompany, Scottish Widows Group. The former chairman of BritInsurance was also named non-executive director ofLloyds Banking Group.

CANADIAN IMPERIAL BANK OF COMMERCE

Canada's fifth-largest bank said on Thursday that ChiefExecutive Gerry McCaughey plans to retire as of April 30, 2016.

STANDARD CHARTERED PLC

The British bank named Tom Willett as global head of mergersand acquisitions to replace Andrew Suckling, who is taking a12-month sabbatical. Willett will take charge on June 1.

CREDIT SUISSE GROUP AG

Credit Suisse has hired Jonathon Kaufman, who was a managingdirector at Deutsche Bank AG's natural resourcesgroup, to boost its global power and renewables practice,according to an internal memo reviewed by Reuters.

BANK OF AMERICA CORP

Bank of America's Merrill Lynch unit said on Wednesday thatit had hired two financial advisers from Morgan Stanley.

Brian Saroken and Gerald Saroken managed about $300 millionin assets at Morgan Stanley and had annual fees and commissionsin excess of $2.6 million.

KUWAIT FINANCE HOUSE

Mohammed al-Omar, chief executive of the Gulf state'slargest Islamic lender, has stepped down, two company sourcessaid on Thursday.

NEONET SECURITIES AB

The independent agency broker said it appointed AlasdairHaynes as the new non-executive chairman. Haynes, a member ofthe Neonet board since February last year, replaced Peter Melbi,who is moving on to another board directorship.

SALAMANCA GROUP

The merchant banking and operational risk managementbusiness said it appointed Craig Hallam as head of propertyservices. Before joining Salamanca, Hallam was businessdevelopment director for LSL Property Services Plc wherehe was responsible for the development of corporaterelationships.

MAYFAIR CAPITAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

The UK real estate investment manager said that it appointedGill Roantree as chief operating officer. Prior to joiningMayfair, Roantree was with Schroder Property.

LIQUIDNET

The global institutional trading network said it appointedChristopher Wall as head of market surveillance in Europe andDavid Stockwell as market surveillance specialist.

ING INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL (ING IM)

The asset manager said it appointed Moudy El Khodr as seniorportfolio manager for the US High Dividend strategy and KrisHermie as senior portfolio manager for the Global High Dividendstrategy. IN BRIEF: H&T increases bank facility with Lloyds to GBP50 million

H&T Group PLC - Surrey-based pawnbroker and retailer of new and pre-owned jewellery and watches - Notes increase in the financing facilities provided by its "longstanding" lender Lloyds Banking Group PLC. Expands total facility to GBP50 million from GBP35 million previously. This includes a GBP45 million revolving credit facility that expires in December 2025 and has the option to extend for up to two more years. It also has a GBP5 million overdraft facility that renews annually. The interest rate on the RCF is increased to 2.4 to 3.3 percentage points above the sterling overnight interbank average rate from 1.7 points. The overdraft keeps the existing terms of 1.7 points above the Bank of England base rate. There is no change to existing banking covenants.
