LONDON (Alliance News) - LiDCO Group PLC said Wednesday that Matthew Sassone will join the company as chief executive officer, succeeding Terry O'Brien after a handover period.
O'Brien will retire August 17. Sassone has previously held positions at Smiths Group PLC's Smiths Medical arm, and is current chief marketing officer of Maquet, a division of Getinge Group.
"I will be leaving LiDCO in good hands with Matt's appointment as CEO. He has the right experience and skills to take LiDCO through the commercial growth stage of LiDCO's evolution," O'Brien said in a statement.
Shares in LiDCO are untraded Wednesday. It last closed at 11.45 pence.
