LiteBulb Signs Retailer Orders Worth GBP1 Million

Tue, 01st Jul 2014 09:13

LONDON (Alliance News) - LiteBulb Group PLC said Tuesday that its subsidiaries have received orders worth more than GBP1 million from a number of retailers, including Debenhams and Tchibo.

The brand and product development company said fully-owned subsidiary of LiteBulb - GO Entertainment Group Ltd - has signed an agreement with an unnamed UK retailer to develop a new range of products, including books, memorabilia, DVDs and magazines. An initial range was delivered in April but the majority of the agreement relates to orders for September in time for the busier Q4 retail trading period, said LiteBulb.

The deal represents a significant increase on previous orders placed with the subsidiary, said LiteBulb.

The company has also received an order from Debenhmans PLC to supply more than 30 items for its Christmas Gift Range, including gift sets and stocking fillers, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bluw. The order from Debenhams represents a 16% increase on Christmas orders for 2013.

Bluw has also signed a new contract with German retailer Tchibo. The initial order includes items from the Star Wars merchandise range, said LiteBulb, which added that it hopes the new relationship will develop to include further orders from the wider LiteBulb portfolio.

Shares in LiteBulb Group were trading 13.21% higher at 0.917 pence per share Tuesday morning, one of the biggest gainers on the AIM market.
