Tullow Oil shares were making decent gains after UBS upgraded the stock from 'neutral' to 'buy'. The bank said that the investment case for the shares has changed and the risk/reward balance is 'now skewed to the upside'.B&Q and Screwfix owner Kingfisher was higher after revealing that it is in exclusive negotiations to buy French home improvement retailer Mr Bricolage, which would add a third business to its two existing brands in the country.Aberdeen Asset Management was up following a number of positive broker comments out earlier in the week. Barclays reiterated its 'overweight' rating, while Societe Generale reaffirmed its 'buy' rating. SABMiller was helped higher by Numis Securities's decision to reiterate its 'add' rating on the drinks giant. Meanwhile, British Sky Broadcasting's share price took a knock today after analysts at HBSC said that the recent rally suggests that 'significant risks' are being overlooked. The bank kept an 'underweight' rating on the broadband and pay-TV group, while the target price for the shares has been cut from 610p to 600p.Rio Tinto and Anglo American tracked the price of copper firmly lower, which fell after China's new modest sized stimulus package fell short of bigger expectations. Royal Mail was another big faller; the government was yesterday attacked by Ed Miliband for its handling of the group's flotation. He said: "A third of the shares were sold to just 16 City investors and get this - there was a gentleman's agreement those City investors wouldn't sell the shares. What happened? Within weeks half of those shares had been sold and they made a killing worth hundreds of millions of pounds - in other words, mates' rates for his friends in the City."
