"Since the financial year end there has been some renewed optimism for the outlook for the global economy and stock markets. However, there continue to be concerns around some European economies which may result in ongoing volatility in European stock markets over the coming year. In addition, there is now an increase of cases of Covid-19 in Europe, which may hamper economic recovery... I believe that the longer term success of our Investment Manager's investment style means that the company is well-positioned for short-term recovery and long-term outperformance," notes Chair Andrew Sutch.
