Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd - Hong Kong-based holding company with interests in retail, property, hotels and motor dealerships - Says 1947 Trustee Ltd, which is closely associated with directors of Jardine Matheson, has purchased 181,200 shares made up of 33,300 shares at USD47.46 per share, 47,900 shares at USD47.78 and 100,000 shares at USD48.09. Says the transaction is worth a total of USD8.7 million.
