IN BRIEF: IQE Gets Final USD2.5 Million Out Of Court Settlement

IQE PLC - designer and manufacturer of semiconductor products driving connected 5G technologies - Notes it has been engaged in litigation in US federal court regarding effect of January 2020 tribunal ruling in IQE's favour. Parties settle claims out of court, with IQE having now received a USD2.5 million full and final settlement payment.

Chief Executive Drew Nelson: "I am very pleased that this matter is now fully resolved. IQE has developed unparalleled materials expertise to meet global demand for advanced semiconductor wafer products, and this is underpinned by our comprehensive intellectual property portfolio which we are prepared to rigorously defend."

Current stock price: 77.95 pence

Year-to-date change: up 6.1%
