LONDON (Alliance News) - Medical device firm Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC said on Thursday it has agreed on financial terms for the shipment of around 500 Alphacore5 Patient Warming Systems to The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is a Polish non-government and non-profit charity.
The order will be shipped in the next two months to over 200 hospitals for treating newborn babies throughout Poland.
Inspiration said this is the largest single order ever received for patient warming systems by the group.
"We are delighted to have received this sizeable order for the AlphaCore5, which required many months of negotiation through our distributor in Poland. It forms part of the strong order book which I highlighted in the trading update on February 22 and, now that terms have been agreed, we look forward to shipping the systems," said Chief Executive Neil Campbell.
"We have established a strong presence in Poland with our distributor there and I'm confident that this order will also open up other opportunities across European markets and is a great endorsement for the AlphaCore5 Patient Warming System," Campbell added.
Shares in Inspiration Healthcare were up 2.6% at 63.10 pence on Thursday.
