LONDON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Britain's Debt Management Office said on Friday it had hired Barclays, BNP Paribas , HSBC, J.P. Morgan and UBS as bookrunners for a syndicated sale of a 1.5% green gilt due in 2053.
The DMO said the sale is planned to take place in the near future, subject to demand, market conditions and other considerations. (Reporting by Andy Bruce, Editing by Paul Sandle)
