SINGAPORE, June 13 (Reuters) - Malaysian lender Malayan Banking, known as Maybank, this month appointed former HSBC banker Jason Khoo as regional head of investment banking and advisory at its investment banking arm.
A Maybank spokesperson confirmed that Khoo joined Southeast Asia's fourth-largest bank by assets on June 1 to replace Rajiv Vijendran, who is taking a new management role at the bank.
Khoo previously led various HSBC debt capital and capital financing teams in Malaysia, Singapore and across Southeast Asia, according to the memo. (Reporting by Yantoultra Ngui Editing by David Goodman)
