IN BRIEF: Provident Financial hires former HSBC exec to run Cards arm

Provident Financial PLC - Bradford, England-based subprime lender - Hires Fiona Anderson to be managing director of Cards division, joining in April. Provident notes Anderson has long experience in credit cards and personal banking. Until last year, she was head of Everyday Banking at HSBC Holdings PLC, prior to which she worked at Mastercard Inc and at Barclaycard, part of Barclays PLC. Most recently, she was MD for Global Consumer Solutions UK at Equifax Inc, a consumer credit reporting agency. Provident says Anderson joined Equifax in 2022.
