(Alliance News) - Gunsynd PLC announced its investee company Empress Royalty Corp has commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada as of Tuesday.
The London-based investment company focused on the natural resources sector invested GBP146,000 into Canadian precious metals royalty and streaming creation company Empress back in October. It now holds one million shares in Empress, which represents 1.4% of the shares in issue.
Director Peter Ruse said in October: "Empress offers an appealing entry point into the gold and silver royalty and streaming space which continues to be an attractive area in North American and European capital markets."
"Gunsynd believes that the debut on the TSX Venture marketplace will enhance the profile of the Empress' existing asset base in a robust market for precious metals," he added.
Shares in Gunsynd were down 7.0% at 1.72 pence in London on Tuesday at midday.
