LONDON (Alliance News) - GlaxoSmithKline PLC said Friday that the following, including Chief Executive Officer Andrew Witty, had acquired shares at 1569.68 pence each as part of a dividend reinvestment:

Dr Patrick Vallance | Acquisition of 21 Ordinary Shares |

Mrs Victoria Whyte | Acquisition of 26 Ordinary Shares |
In addition Phil Thomson transferred 11 shares to his wife.
On October 3 Witty acquired 2,402 shares and his wife acquired 1,680 shares through a dividend reinvestment at 1566.6515. Victoria Whyte's husband acquired 119 shares at the same price.
Shares in Glaxo were trading down 9.50 pence at 1,561.50 pence Friday afternoon.
