LONDON (Alliance News) - Newspaper publisher Connect Group PLC Monday said Gary Kennedy bought 20,000 shares at 152.70 pence each on Friday.
The purchase is his only holding in the company.
Connect Group said in March that Kennedy was appointed to its board as its chairman-designate.
Kennedy will become non-executive chairman of the distribution company on May 1 after Dennis Millard steps down, Connect said.
Kennedy is currently the chairman of both Greencore Group PLC and Green REIT PLC.
The stock was trading up 1.3% at 154.80p Monday.
