Gresham House Strategic PLC - investor in smaller UK public companies - Notes announcement by asset manager Gresham House PLC that Richard Staveley, one of the fund managers of Gresham House Strategic, has resigned from Gresham House, effective immediately, after 20 months with the company. Gresham House Strategic says it is "disappointed", saying Staveley joined Gresham House to manage the GHS investments and has made a "significant positive impact", picking two-thirds of its current portfolio. The resignation comes after Gresham House Strategic on Monday said it is launching a strategic review. This includes considering Gresham House Asset Management's continued role as asset manager. It has served 12 months notice to GHAM. For its part, Gresham House, the largest shareholder in GHS with a 23% stake, has requisition a general meeting demanding among other things the immediate removal of GHS Chair David Potter.

Gulf Marine Services PLC - Abu Dhabi-based provider of support vessels for offshore oil, gas and renewables industries - Confirms Interim Executive Chair Mansour Al Alami as permanent executive chair. Also hires Anthony St John as non-executive director, starting immediately. St John sits in the House of Lords. He is a former oil industry analyst who also worked for Royal Dutch Shell PLC. He current is non-executive chair of Integrated Diagnostics Holdings PLC and a non-executive director of Yellow Cake PLC and Smithson Investment Trust PLC.

IQGeo Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based geospatial software for telecom and utility network operators - Hires Carolyn Rand as independent non-executive director, starting Wednesday. Rand was chief financial officer of AIM-listed e-commerce platform Bango PLC and also worked for medical devices firm Smith & Nephew PLC.

Sanderson Design Group PLC - Buckinghamshire-based interior furnishings - Vijay Thakrar will step down as non-executive director at the end of his three-year initial term on November 27, due to "increasing commitments with other businesses".
