(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Griffin Mining Ltd - operates Caijiaying zinc-gold mine in China - Chief Operating Officer Mark Hine sells 80,000 shares at 113p, worth GBP90,400, on Tuesday. Shares in Griffin Mining are up 26% over the past week. On Monday, it announced that its new mining licence, covering zone two and zone three of the Caijiaying mine, has been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Land & Natural Resources.

Aviva PLC - London-based life and general insurer focused on UK, Ireland and Canada - Independent Non-Executive Director Mohit Joshi buys 7,618 shares at GBP3.28, worth GBP24,999, on Tuesday.

Shanta Gold Ltd - East Africa-focused producer, developer and explorer - Non-Executive Director Ketan Patel buys 256,251 shares at GBP0.16 and GBP0.17, worth GBP43,400, on Thursday last week. Now has 44.5 million shares, a 4.3% stake.

Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC - London-based private and commercial banking - Non-Executive Director Nigel Boardman buys 2,000 shares at GBP7.85, worth GBP15,700, on Monday and Tuesday. Boardman had bought 2,250 shares last week. Now has 9,270 shares.

Northern Bear PLC - Newcastle Upon Tyne-based specialist building and support services - Graham Jennings, a former company director, sells 100,000 shares at an undisclosed price on Tuesday. Northern Bear shares were quoted at 48.38p on Wednesday, making the sale worth about GBP48,000. Jennings retains 874,569 shares, a 4.7% stake. On Monday, Northern Bear said it had appointed John Holroyd as a new non-executive director, effective immediately.

IN BRIEF: Griffin Mining hails output "resilience" despite shutdown

Griffin Mining Ltd - mine operator focused on China - In the three months to September 30, mines 267,304 tonnes of ore, which is a 13% decrease year-on-year from 306,966 tonnes, and a 21% decrease from the three months to June 30, 2022. Processes 309,465 tonnes of ore during the quarter, which is a 6.1% increase year-on-year, and a 6.0% decrease from the previous quarter. The period was hit by the enforced suspension of operations at the Caijiaying Mine from September 23, for the Plenary Session of the Communist Party Central Committee and the Chinese Communist Party's 20th Party Congress. On an equivalent annualised basis, mining and processing were maintained at over 1.3 million tonnes of ore per annum until the suspension. Chinese authorities have advised it may resume operations at Caijiaying from Wednesday, it says.
