(ShareCast News) - Oil and gas miner Frontera Resources Corporation has won the bid to explore and produce hydrocarbons in the Republic of Moldova.The AIM-listed company and the Moldovan government are set to negotiate on hydrocarbon exploration and development in the country and agree suitable terms outlined in the initial bidding process.The bidding was conducted by the Agency of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Environment following permission from the government.The company currently focuses on the onshore Kura Basin between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
