HSBC Buys 5% Of Fidessa Shares Ahead Of ION Capital Acquisition (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment management software developer Fidessa Group PLC said on Wednesday that HSBC Holdings PLC bought a 5% stake in the company.

HSBC bought a total of 38.8 million shares in Fidessa in a transaction which was completed on Tuesday.

Last week, FTSE 250-listed Fidessa accepted an offer of GBP38.703 in cash for each of its 40.1 million shares by ION Capital UK Ltd.

Shares in Fidessa Group closed down 0.2% at 3,925.00 pence.
