** "We are confident the Department of Transportation will approve NorwegianAir International's application and we hope they will do so shortly," thecarrier says in a statement
** HSBC analysts also say that they expect a modest weakening of demand onthe Atlantic, adding they continue to prefer low-cost carriers to flag-carriersamong European airlines
