** Lufthansa is expanding Eurowings, previously a small regional carrier, tocover more point-to-point destinations within Europe as it bids to win backmarket share from low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and easyJet
** The airline also plans to use the Eurowings brand for a foray intolow-cost long-haul
** Lufthansa shares last up 0.9 pct
