Exillon Energy Says Production Rates Recovered In April

Fri, 16th May 2014 11:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Friday said its production levels have recovered for April after oil pipeline repair works and maintenance works during March.

The oil producer with assets in Russia said its average daily production in April was 18,211 barrels per day in April, a jump on its 16,777 barrels per day average during March .

The company announced in April that production during March was hit by oil pipeline repair works undertaken by Transneft OAO and the temporary suspension of operations by certain oil refineries.

Exillon said its peak production rate during April was 18,706, an increase on both the February and March rates but the company did note that it was slightly down on its January average production and peak production numbers.

The company said that during the first quarter ended March 31 it sold 1.3 million barrels within Russia at an average realised price of USD45.00 per barrel and ended the quarter with a cash balance of USD101.1 million.

Exillon Energy shares were down 1.3% at 135.94 pence Friday.
