Exillon Energy Promotes Deputy To CEO

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Wednesday said it has promoted Alexander Suchkov to the position of Chief Executive, after the resignation of its Executive Director.

In a statement, the oil producer with assets in Timan-Pechora and West Siberia, said it promoted the Deputy Chief Executive after Pavel Chernienko stepped down.

Earlier Wednesday, Exillon said it had appointed Roman Kudryashov, Alexander Markovtsevand Natalya Shternberg as independent non-executive Directors.

Kudryashov has worked for more than 20 years in finance, most recently as head of Verno Private Equity Fund. Markovtsev has more than 15 years working as a lawyer, having advised on a number of mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas sector. Meanwhile, Shternberg has held senior positions over a 20-year period at a variety of oil and gas companies such as Souz Petrolium SA, Summa Group, Star Oil and Baltic Oil Invest Ltd.

Exillon Energy shares were Wednesday quoted at 139.55 pence, up 1.9%.
