Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Hires Former PwC Executives To Board

(Alliance News) - Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Caroline Roxburgh and Jonathan Simpson-Dent as non-executive directors, effective from start of February.

Roxburgh is a chartered accountant and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP until 2016. She has over 30 years' business experience advising boards in a range of industry sectors, the investment company said.

Simpson-Dent, meanwhile, has spent the majority of his career running private equity and listed mid-cap international growth businesses across multiple sectors, the trust said. Simpson-Dent is a former chief financial officer of home emergency repairs firm HomeServe PLC. He has also previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust shares were trading 0.3% lower in London on Wednesday at 195.34 pence each.
