LONDON (Alliance News) - PRS REIT PLC said Thursday it had hired Jim Prower as non-executive director of the real estate investment trust with immediate effect.
Prower - a chartered accountant - spent most of his career as finance director at property developer Argent Group PLC. This saw him involved in "major" regeneration projects in Manchester, Birmingham and London. Prior to this, he had served as finance chief at Creston Land & Estates and NOBO Group PLC.
He currently serves as non-executive at Tritax Big Box REIT PLC, Empiric Student Property PLC and AEW UK Long Lease REIT PLC.
PRS Chair Steve Smith explained he was "delighted" Prower had joined PRS, adding that he "brings a wealth of experience in property development that will be of huge value to the company as we move into the next stage of our development."
Shares in PRS closed 0.7% lower at 96.31 pence on Thursday.
