Escher Group Inks Riposte Software Contract With Emirates Post

LONDON (Alliance News) - Escher Group Holdings PLC said Monday it has signed a contract with Emirates Post Group, the United Arab Emirates' national post operator, for Escher's Riposte software.

The contract includes a five-year maintenance agreement. No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

The company said Emirates Post Group will use the software as part of its strategy to keep pace with trends in global postal services, making its post offices one-stop shops offering multiple services.

"This is a significant development for Escher in the Middle East and reaffirms our commitment to expand our customer base in this region," said Chief Executive Officer Liam Church in a statement.

Shares in Escher Group were trading up 4.2% at 310.00 pence Monday morning.
