Thu, 19th Aug 2021 15:08

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of earnings updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Tremor International Ltd - Tel Aviv-based advertising technology - Revenue in second quarter of 2021 more than doubles to USD81.4 million from USD35.7 million a year earlier. For six months, revenue more than doubles to USD152.4 million from USD74.3 million and swings to pretax profit of USD35.1 million from USD30.5 million loss. "Management remains confident in the medium to long-term prospects of the company with Tremor well-placed to further benefit from the ongoing resurgence in the global digital advertising industry," company says.

----------

Pretax profit rises to GBP24.3 million from GBP19.1 million a year earlier. Lifts interim dividend by 86% to 1.3 cents per share from 0.7 cents. Tips demand for drilling services to rise this year. "The outlook remains robust for maintaining a high utilisation rate through H2 2021," Capital adds.

----------

Adnams PLC - pub and brewing firm based in Suffolk - Revenue in six months to June 30 falls 0.7% to GBP20.5 million from GBP20.7 million. Pretax loss narrows to GBP3.3 million from GBP3.9 million. Says since restrictions eased, it has seen "strong demand". Says accommodation businesses seeing high levels of occupancy and pub estate is fully opened. Notes it has been forced to close or restrict services due to staff being forced to self-isolate, but adds "such closures have been relatively few and therefore their impact on the overall business limited". "The business remains cautiously optimistic that the worst of the pandemic is behind it and that the on-trade will be able to progress relatively normally into the autumn and beyond. Adnams continues with its digital transformation, and it has seen good adoption of its on-trade self service App Rockpool," company says.
