LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent cinema operator Everyman Media Group PLC Wednesday said it traded in line with market expectations in 2015, boosted by a strong cinema market during the second half of the year.
The company expects this momentum to continue into 2016.
Everyman ended the year operating 16 cinemas, including 4 Odeon sites it acquired in August 2015, 2 of which were fully refurbished under its brand before the end of the year. The 2 remaining Odeon sites are expected to be refurbished during the course of 2016.
The company has continued to find new venue opportunities for its future investment, it said, and has exchanged contracts on venues in Bristol, Harrogate, Chelmsford, Cirencester, Statford-upon-Avon and Kings Cross.
