LONDON (Alliance News) - Edenville Energy PLC on Friday said is has continued to make progress on the Rukwa coal-to-power project in Tanzania and has established a new subsidiary to advance the project.
Edenville said it has established Tanzania-based Edenville Power Tanzania Ltd to act as the principle vehicle to advance the power project towards operation.
Elsewhere, the environmental impact assessment registration application and project brief for the power plant have both been submitted, and Edenville is holding talks with several power plant developers who could take on some of the cost of the construction.
Edenville shares were up 13% to 0.0312 pence.
