UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Kingspan Insulation Boards MD To Depart

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Kingspan Group PLC - Ireland-based building materials company - Peter Wilson will retire from the Kingspan board and as managing director Insulation Boards business at end of the year. Alan Lawlor, chief financial officer of the Insulation Boards division and MD of its Southern Europe business is made its new managing director. Jim Carolan, operations director of the Insulated Boards business, is made group head of Compliance & Certification. Kingspan manufactured the flammable Kooltherm K15 insulation used on the Grenfell Tower in London, where a fire in 2017 killed 72 people. Kooltherm K15 was the minority material used on the Grenfell Tower. Most of the insulation came from another firm, Celotex.

Persimmon PLC - York, England-based housebuilder - Hires Andrew Wyllie as independent non-executive director, starting January 1. Wyllie was chief executive of construction firm Costain Group PLC for 14 years before retiring in 2019.

Helios Towers PLC - mobile phone towers in Africa - Confirms Manjit Dhillon as permanent chief financial officer, starting January 1. Dhillon joined Helios in 2016 as head of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance and became interim CFO in July when Tom Greenwood was promoted to chief operating officer.

Andrews Sykes Group PLC - Wolverhampton-based heating and cooling rental company - Hires Ian Poole as finance director, starting February 22. Poole joins from Incorporatewear Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Australian uniforms business The Workwear Group. He will report to the board but not be a board member.

Synthomer PLC - Essex-based chemical company - Confirms that Caroline Johnstone has replaced Neil Johnson as chair, as first announced back in March. Johnson was chair for eight years. Johnstone was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is currently a non-executive director of Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC.

Mobius Investment Trust PLC - invests in 20 to 30 small to mid-cap companies across emerging and frontier markets - Non-Executive Director Sophie Robe is promoted to senior independent director, effective immediately.

eEnergy Group PLC - London-based 'energy efficiency-as-a-service' business - Confirms the appointment of Rob van Leeuwen as chief operating officer. The non-board role reports to CEO Harvey Sinclair. Van Leeuwen will oversee the integration of renewable energy consulting and procurement business Beond Group Ltd, whose acquisition eEnergy completed on Tuesday.

Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC - Slough, Berkshire-based health and household products - Appoints Olivier Bohuon as non-executive director, effective January 1. Bohuon was CEO of medical devices maker Smith & Nephew PLC from 2011 to 2018. He currently is on the board of Japan's Takeda Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd.

Oilex Ltd - oil & gas explorer focused on "super basins" in India, Australia and UK - Extends the contracts of Managing Director Jonathan Salomon and Executive Director Mark Bolton to June 30 of next year.

Custodian REIT PLC - real estate investment trust - Barry Gilbertson to step down as senior independent non-executive director on January 1 after seven years on the board since the company's London listing in 2014. Mattioli Woods PLC, owner of Custodian Capital Ltd, the investment manager of Custodian REIT, has named Gilbertson as executive chair of Custodian Capital, starting January 1, so Gilbertson steps down from Custodian REIT to maintain a majority of independent directors. Matthew Thorne promoted to senior independent director of Custodian REIT. Says process to appoint a further non-executive director is underway.

ECR Minerals PLC - mineral exploration and development focused on Australia - Hires Adam Jones as non-executive director, effective immediately. Jones is a geologist based in Victoria, Australia.

Derwent London PLC - London-based property regeneration - Promotes Emily Prideaux to board as executive director, starting March 1. Prideaux leads Derwent's leasing team, joining the company in 2010.
