EXECUTIVE CHANGES: NQ Minerals and PCF CEOs depart; Safestay hires CFO

Fri, 21st May 2021 17:54

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

NQ Minerals PLC - Hellyer and Beaconsfield gold mines in Tasmania, Australia - Walter Doyle steps down as chief executive officer and director, effective immediately, having founded NQ Minerals in 2015. Chief Financial Officer Adrian Moroz will take on the additional role of interim CEO. "With recent new senior appointments in the company, who are suitably skilled to build on what Walter started, he feels that now is the right time for him to step down as CEO," explains Chair David Lenigas.

----------

PCF Group PLC - parent of PCF Bank Ltd, serving individuals and small businesses - Scott Maybury steps down as CEO and resigns from board, effective immediately. Chief Operating Officer Garry Stran will be interim CEO until a permanent CEO is appointed. On Wednesday, PCF asked for trading of its shares on AIM to be suspended. PCF said this to allow a "further review" of its "financial controls and reporting processes". Back in March, PCF had said a number of adjustments needed to be made to its results for the financial year that ended September 30 last year.

----------

Safestay PLC - London-based hostels operator - Hires Peter Harvey as CFO and company secretary, starting Friday and replacing Herve Deligny. Harvey has worked for Whitbread PLC, Domino's Pizza Group PLC and Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

----------

Diploma PLC - London-based seal and cables maker - Hires Dean Finch as independent non-executive director, starting Friday. Finch is chief executive of housebuilder Persimmon PLC. He was CEO of public transport firm National Express Group PLC from 2010 to 2020.

----------

Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC - Chester-based price comparison website - Hires Lesley Jones as non-executive director, starting September 1. A former executive with Citigroup Inc and RBS Group, now NatWest Group PLC, Jones currently is a non-executive director of merchant bank Close Brothers Group PLC and chair of Sainsbury's Bank, part of grocer J Sainbury PLC.

----------

Kainos Group PLC - London-based IT services provider for public sector, commercial and healthcare sectors - Non-Executive Director Chris Cowan and Executive Director Paul Gannon will step down from board at annual general meeting on September 23.

----------

Gfinity PLC - London-based e-sports and gaming - Hires Hugo Drayton as non-executive director, starting immediately. Drayton is a non-executive director of FTSE 250-listed magazine publisher Future PLC. As an executive, he was managing director of publisher Telegraph Group. Meanwhile, Preeti Mardia steps down as non-executive director, also immediately.

----------

Newmark Security PLC - London-based electronic and physical security systems - Says Finance Director Graham Feltham, who had been due to step down on June 3, will stay until a new finance director is found.
