EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Mitie, Pharos and Anpario promote finance chiefs

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Mitie Group PLC - Glasgow-based facilities management and professional services - Promotes Simon Kirkpatrick from finance director to chief financial officer, joining the board, starting April 1. Kirkpatrick joined Mitie in July 2019 from construction firm Balfour Beatty PLC. Andrew Peeler, who was CFO on a fixed-term contract, will leave Mitie on June 30.

Pharos Energy PLC - Promotes Sue Rivett to board as chief financial officer, starting July 1. Jann Brown, who is currently managing director and CFO, will remain as MD, focused on the company's strategic plan. Rivett currently is head of Finance and UK general manager, joining Pharos five years ago. Pharos also said that Brown, CEO Ed Story and MD Mike Watts will take 50% salary reductions from April 1 in order to cut costs.

Anpario PLC - Nottinghamshire-based animal feed additives - Promotes Marc Wilson to finance director and to board, starting July 1. Wilson replaces Karen Prior, who will remain as an executive director responsible for corporate social responsibility and as company secretary. Wilson has been with Anpario since 2010 and is director of several of its subsidiaries.

888 Holdings PLC - Gibraltar-based online betting and gaming - Promotes Anne de Kerckhove to senior independent director, effective immediately. De Kerckhove has been a board member since late 2017. She is chief executive officer of Freespee, a London-based customer communication platform for businesses.

Pathfinder Minerals PLC - Mozambique-focused natural resources explorer - Hires Jonathan Summers as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Summers is a former managing director at Goldman Sachs in Europe. He was founding partner & head of Business Development for Everett Capital Advisors, a London-based investment fund, and founding principal & head of Business Development for Myriad Asset Management, a Hong Kong-based asset manager. Summers has agreed to waive any salary for the first 12 months, but he has been awarded options over 6.0 million shares at 0.55p, with options for a further 6.0 million shares at 1.25p subject to a shareholder vote on March 29. Pathfinder shares are currently trading at 0.60p.

Entain PLC - London-based sports-betting and gaming - Hires Mark Gregory as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Gregory was CEO of Merian Global Investors until last year, when it was sold to Jupiter Fund Management PLC. Prior to Merian, Gregory was chief financial officer of Legal & General Group PLC. He is currently an independent non-executive director of Direct Line Insurance Group PLC.

CPPGroup PLC - Leeds-based products and services for financial services and insurance sectors - Promotes Mark Hamlin to senior independent director, effective immediately. Hamlin has been a non-executive director since 2016.

Coral Products PLC - Manchester-based plastic products - Hires Steve Barber as non-executive director, effective immediately. Coral Products says Barber has more than 30 years experience in the packaging industry, including co-founding Interpack Ltd. He holds 2 million Coral Products shares.

Yourgene Health PLC - Manchester-headquartered molecular diagnostics firm - Hires Scott Sargent as vice president of Sales North America, effective immediately. Sargent was director of sales for Clinical Genomics for Qiagen NV in the US and Canada. Says Sargent's hire follows the acquisition of British Columbia, Canada-based Coastal Genomics back in August.

Genel Energy PLC - oil production in Iraq - George Rose will step down as independent non-executive director at the upcoming annual general meeting. "The board will continue to keep its size and composition under review, including the balance between independent and non-independent directors," Genel says.

Custodian REIT PLC - Hires Elizabeth McMeikan as senior independent director and Chris Ireland as an independent director, both from April 1. McMeikan was an executive at grocer Tesco PLC. She currently is the senior independent director of student property developer Unite Group PLC. She also is a non-executive director for Irish hospitality chain Dalata Hotel Group PLC and for cleaning and hygiene products firm McBride PLC. Ireland is UK CEO of commercial real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle and will become chair of JLL UK in April.
