EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Dialight Non-Exec Bird steps down for Headlam role

Tue, 22nd Jun 2021 14:39

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Headlam Group PLC - Birmingham-based floor coverings - Hires Vitec Group PLC Chief Executive Stephen Bird as a non-executive director, effective September 13. "Stephen has extensive executive experience developing successful, customer-led growth strategies to help businesses grow and adapt to changing markets, including leading transformational digitalisation and customer service programmes," Headlam notes. London-listed industrial LED lighting technology and solutions firm Dialight says Bird will be stepping down from his role as non-executive director to take up the opportunity at Headlam. He joined Dialight in January 2013, and is stepping down as he approaches nine years' service on the board.

----------

Kavango Resources PLC - exploration company targeting mineral deposits in Botswana - Reports board shake-up, with Chief Executive Michael Foster to step down but remaining with company as non-executive director, while Ben Turney, who was hired as an executive director at the start of this year, will become CEO. Hillary Gumbo, managing director of the company's subsidiary in Botswana and responsible for exploration activities in the country, will also join the board. Thanks Chuck Forrest, who recently stood down from his position as CFO, and notes it has retained his services as a consultant when required. The financial function of the group is now being managed by ONE Advisory, an external provider of accounting services.
