LONDON (Alliance News) - Consort Medical PLC said Monday that the Voke nicotine inhaler has been granted a variation to its marketing authorisation by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products regulatory agency.
The device was developed by Kind Consumer Ltd, and will be commercialised by British American Tobacco PLC subsidiary Nicovations. Consort's Bespak division will manufacture the product.
Consort said it continues to work with Nicovations to complete the scale up for full commercialisation of the product.
Shares in Consort are trading up 1.6% at 881.12 pence Monday morning.
