Costain Group PLC - construction firm - Arbitration rules against company over dispute concerning A465 road in Wales. Arbitrator reverses initially decision which favoured Costain so now company must take responsibility for costs associated with building retaining wall on road. Costain notes half-year results to include charge of GBP45 million as a result to adjust for lost revenue under A465 contract.
