Stock broker Collins Stewart said the year has started satisfactorily with total revenues in the first four months of year up 12% on last year despite the declining dollar.The group said revenue in 2010 so far is £63.6m. Revenue outside the US is up 19%. Wealth Management has started the year solidly and assets under management at 30 April, 2010 were £6.7bn, up from £5.9bn at the end of 2009, it said. "The performance of UK Securities continues to be mixed with the equities business affected generally by poor market volumes but off-set by strong performances from the specialist desks. Deal activity in Corporate Broking has also been pushed back by the election," added the group.
