System on a chip technology firm Imagination Technologies Group has signed a multi-use licence agreement with semiconductor company MediaTek.MediaTek will deploy Imagination's POWERVR SGX graphics processor technology on its future system on a chip devices. Imagination will receive licensing fees and royalty revenues under the deal.ATM network operator Cashbox has agreed a five-year deal with BT to enable its ATMs to become Wi-Fi hotspots.The high speed wireless broadband service will initially be available in 10 of Cashbox's 2,500 client locations across the UK, including Tiger Tiger bars in London, Manchester, and Glasgow. Cashbox also said May was a record month for transactions as customers found cash preferable to credit in the current economic climate.Property management services HML Holdings is going strong following a 15% hike in full-year revenue to £8.6m and 26% jump in base management fees to £4.4m.An impairment charge of £1.17m linked to HML's North London business, formally known as Mandells, and higher direct operating expenses resulted in a loss of £1.25m for the year ended 31 March 2009 versus a £312,000 profit in 2008.Stratic Energy edged ahead on news that operator Nippon Oil Exploration and Production UK started drilling operations on the 15/24a-J Bowmore appraisal well in the UK Central North Sea. Stratic has a 15% interest in the P1465 licence covering blocks 15/24a, 15/23c, 15/28a and 15/29e. Property fund manager Capital & Regional's X-Leisure Unit Trust, in which it has a 19.4% stake, has secured unit holder support for the open offer announced last month. It expects the £50m offer to be fully subscribed following strong investor interest and will complete by the end of July.The offer depends on the negotiation of revised banking covenants with the fund's syndicate of banks, but C&R says these negotiations are "well progressed".Pinewood Shepperton said since 5 June, the US Screen Actors Guild dispute has been resolved. "The board welcomes this development and considers the Company to be well placed and views its prospects with confidence," it said.Shares in Sarantel gained after the antennas maker said it has begun shipments of its GeoHelix GPS antennas to military equipment supplier General Dynamics. The group said it believes that this contract has the potential to benefit revenues materially in 2010. Diagnostic testing kits maker Immunodiagnostic Systems reported a 27% rise in full-year pre-tax profits and said trading for the first two months of the new year is in line with expectations. Pre-tax profit from continuing operations rose to £4.78m compared with £3.76m last time on revenue up 51.4% at £24.94m.The dividend is up 10% to 1.65p.Vatukoula Gold Mines increased underground production to 54,618 tonnes of ore mined in the third quarter from 47,113 tonnes the previous quarter.It also upped gold output to 8,711 ounces for the three months ended 31 May from 7,470 ounces last time.IS Pharma announced the commercial launch of its bleeding treatment Variquel in the UK and Ireland. The earlier than expected launch in the UK will enable sales of Variquel to commence immediately, the group said."The commercial launch coming so close after receiving the marketing authorisation from the UK regulatory authority (MHRA) highlights the ability of IS Pharma to rapidly bring to market its key brands," added chief executive Tim Wright.RCG Holdings, the international provider of biometric products, is pleased to confirm that trading in the current financial year to date remains healthy and in line with management's expectations.Low cost fuel cell company AFC Energy has successfully completed the demonstration of its fuel cell system which it has installed at AkzoNobel's chlor-alkali plant in Bitterfeld, Germany.The company said the next stage of the project will be to bring the fuel cell system to full commercial operation.Home entertainment products distributor MBL has won a three year contract with supermarket chain Wm. Morrison to supply CDs, DVDs and computer games.Green technology firm TEG Group is to acquire Banham Compost, and with it a 28,000 tonnes per annum commercial composting facility in Norfolk. The acquisition has funded the acquisition with a placing of 4.75m new ordinary shares at 40p per share.
