(Alliance News) - Charles Stanley Group PLC said Friday it has appointed Anna Troup as non-executive director with effect on October 1.
Troup's most recent executive role was as head of UK Bespoke Solutions at Legal & General Investment Management, for a year from 2017 to 2018.
The stockbroker also announced that Non-Executive Director Bridget Guerin will step down with effect on September 30.
"We are delighted Anna is joining the board. She brings an impressive breadth and depth of financial services experience which will be of great value to Charles Stanley and our clients," said Chair David Howard.
"Bridget joined the board in 2012 and has managed her roles as member of the Risk and Nomination Committees and chair of the Remuneration Committee with skill and effectiveness. Her experience and wisdom have been invaluable in helping the board and senior management to deliver results for shareholders and customers. She leaves the board with our thanks and best wishes for the future," Howard added.
Shares in Charles Stanley closed 3.5% lower at 252.00 pence on Friday in London.
