SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Chrysalis Investments NAV falls some more

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Wednesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Capital & Regional PLC, up 5.8% at 58.39 pence, 12-month range 42.80p-67.00p. The London-based real estate investment trust focused on community shopping centres makes gains after a slow start to 2023. In the year-to-date Capital & Regional's stock is up just 0.7%. Over the last twelve months, it is down 4.6%.

SIG PLC, up 2.0% at 35.65 pence, 12-month range 0.316p-0.533p. Building products firm says Gavin Slark has started chief executive officer. Steve Francis steps down after three years. Francis joined the Sheffield, England-based company in February 2020 as CEO and will remain employed by the company until March 8. Slark had been CEO of Dublin-based building materials firm Grafton Group PLC for 11 years.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Chrysalis Investments Ltd, down 1.4% at 85.50p, 12-month range 51.00p-203.65p. The investor in technology and finance startups on Wednesday said net asset value per share was 128.26 pence on December 31, down 13% from 147.79 pence at September 30. On Tuesday, Chrysalis had reported a 41% fall in NAV in its financial year that had ended on September 30 from 251.96p in September 2021.
