LONDON (Alliance News) - Byotrol PLC said Thursday it has secured formal approval for sale of its anti-microbial product in all US states.
With the approval, the company said it is now able to sell the germ-kill surface sanitizer, Byotrol24, in US retail, on-line and to institutional sellers.
The anti-microbial technology company said the product had been previously approved by the US Environment Protection Agency in June 2017.
Byotrol secured the first order for Byotrol24 for sale via a "professional" re-seller on Amazon.com.
David Traynor, chief executive officer, said: "We are now, finally, ready to go in the US. We are very excited to complete the various regulatory processes and can now move confidently on to commercialisation."
"The order from the Amazon re-seller, whilst very small, is a key first step for us and we hope is the first in a series of positive announcements as we grow in the US."
Byotrol shares were lower 1.3% at 3.70 pence.
